Contain: Foul Language

This Melanie most recent project. This film is Melanie K-12 Album Film. Which Martinez both wrote and directed. This Film is Martinez Directorial Debut.

Dollhouse was Melanie Martinez debut song. Dollhouse is about a family who seems perfect on the outside but inside they're far from it.

In an interview, Melanie said, "People put them in glass boxes and think they are perfect and when something happens that shows when they are humans, people don't like that." This is how people veiw celebrites.

Orange juice message is saying that your body doesn’t define who you are and that your beautiful inside and out which is a great message.

“Your body is imperfectly perfect” speaks for itself because it is

Melanie wrote this song with no foul language because she wanted every age/gender to be able to relate. Also the visual are breathtaking.

This song deals with plastic surgery, its consequences, and the struggle for beauty in the modern world itself, and people who succumb to these pressures.

"Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head," a famous American toy consisting of a plastic model of a potato which can be decorated with a variety of plastic parts that can attach to the main body.

Melanie said that this song was not about bashing women who get plastic surgery, but more like "Why are you doing this when you're beautiful without it?"[citation needed]

Strawberry Shortcake is about how many girls are taught from a young age that they are only valued if they are attractive to men. This cause young girls to feel insecure about their self because they don't look like everyone else.

Her changing her appearance cause boys to keep looking at her. Instead they try to blame her for it.

Therefore, the song addresses sexual harassment and carries a critique of rape culture and victim-blaming.
